José

José is 57 and lives with his wife, mother, and 2 children. He is a very happy man of the country. Every morning with his machete in hand, he goes to his coffee and banana fields. He inherited this work from his parents, and in all of this time, he has accumulated the necessary experience to grow crops with excellent results. He starts working very early, but he takes a break at 11 am for 2 to 3 hours because of the terrible sun. At 3 pm, he returns to his work until nightfall. José is very happy with his agricultural work, but what he likes most are his harvests because they let him earn the money he needs for the economic well-being of his family. He has dreams of progress for the future, and he will keep working hard with the goal of reaching a better quality of life for his family. This is his fifth credit with Microfinanzas Prisma, and he feels very comfortable and happy because of the organization of his communal bank. He has paid back each one of his loans in a punctual manner. Whenever there are disagreements among his fellow members, he is the first one to bring order back to the group. With the money he is requesting, he will buy fertilizers for his coffee crop.

José está muy contento con sus trabajos agrícolas, pero lo que más le gusta son las cosechas, porque le permita acumular el dinero necesario para el bienestar económico y el sostenimiento de su familia. Sus deseos de progreso a futuro los tiene puestos en la agricultura, y seguirá trabajando arduamente con miras de alcanzar una mejor calidad de vida para su familia.
