The growing demand for making calls on cell phones has given her the opportunity to engage in a business in which she feels comfortable. She works every day, on foot, offering cell phone calls. Her eye-catching green vest and her enchanting smile have made her one of the most sought after girls to rent a few minutes of cell phone time from. Also, she is very thoughtful and fair in her charges. Therefore, her business is going very well.

What she likes most about her work is talking with her customers and helping them to communicate with the people they want to talk to.

She has been doing this for five years, and in the future she would like to have her own stand for making calls. This way she could improve her income and help her parents with the expenses of their house.

On the other hand, what she thinks is the most difficult is having to stay all day standing in the street waiting for customers. This makes her very tired.

This is her second loan with MFP. She was very punctual with her first loan, and she expects to be the same with this loan, too. She is a beloved member of her community bank. Her happiness is contagious to the rest of the members.

She will use the 1,000 PEN to buy two new cell phones to be able to tend to more people at once.

Miriam es una joven que a sus 23 años siente la obligación moral de llevar dinero a su hogar, vive en la casa de sus padres y siente que ya es hora de ayudar en los gastos del hogar. La creciente demanda por las llamadas a celular, le han dado la oportunidad de ejercer una actividad con la que se siente cómoda, trabaja todos los días ofreciendo llamadas a celular de forma ambulatoria. Su llamativo chaleco verde y su encantadora sonrisa, han hecho que sea una de las muchachas más buscadas para alquilar por unos minutos uno de sus teléfonos celulares, además es muy atenta y justa en el cobro, por ello, su negocio marcha muy bien. Lo que más le gusta de su trabajo es conversar con sus clientes y ayudarlos a comunicarse con las personas que desean. Lleva 5 años realizando esta actividad y anhela en el futuro tener su propilo local de llamadas, así podrá mejorar sus ingresos y ayudar a sus padres con los gastos de su casa. Por otro lado, lo que considera más difícil es tener que permanecer todo el día parada en la calle en la espera de clientes, lo cual le es muy cansado. Este es su segundo préstamo con MFP, en su primer crédito fue muy puntual y espera serlo ahora también, en su banco comunal es una socia muy querida, ya que contagia su alegría al resto de socias. Con los mil nuevos soles solicitados comprará dos nuevos celulares para atender a más personas a la vez.
