This is Issa M. Kamara, Bai Kamara, Fatmata Kamara and Isatu Mansaray. They called their group “Maladoh”, named after the group leader’s middle name.

This is not the first loan they are getting from SMT/Kiva. They have received several loans and each of these loans has created meaningful impacts into the businesses and personal lives of these entrepreneurs.

Having repaid their last loan successfully, they are now requesting a new loan of Le 800,000 each to further strengthen their businesses. With this loan, they will be able to expand their businesses, make more profit, and improve on their standard of living.

Issa M. Kamara (left) is the leader of this group. Issa was born in Mile Ninety-one, in the Tonkolili district, in northern Sierra Leone. He is thirty-two years of age, and married with three children. Two of his children are in secondary schools and one is in primary school. Maladoh’s wife is also a businesswoman.

Maladoh sells ready-to-wear-clothes, slippers and sneakers. He has been a businessman for more than ten years now.
