Eda

Eda is a hardworking, 28 year old woman that does everything she can to get ahead. She has worked since she was very young, since she has always had the mentality of wanting to better her life and be independent. The sacrifices that she made as a child are now starting return results. She has been working for more than 10 years as ticket collector on combis (public transportation trucks) and for the past year she has been working with her own combi, which she bought with her savings and her parent's help. She works the #14 route, one of the most heavily trafficked in the city of Juliaca.

In the future Eda hopes to buy more cars and form her own transport company. What she likes most about her work is talking with the passengers and making the long trips more enjoyable for them. The most difficult part is having to spend the whole day standing, opening and closing the combi's door. Even so, she knows it's her job and thanks to it she has been able to improve her life. This is the second time that Eda is requesting a loan from MFP; her communal bank supports her and wants her to get ahead, since it's the members themselves that are most concerned about everyone succeeding. With the 1,000 Nuevos Soles requested, she will buy new tires for her combi in order to provide a better service to her clients.

Eda es una mujer de 28 años muy trabajadora, que pone todo de su parte para salir adelante, trabaja desde que era muy joven, puesto que siempre tuvo en mente el querer mejorar su vida y lograr su independencia. Los sacrificios que hizo en su juventud empiezan a dar frutos, son ya más 10 años los que lleva trabajando como cobradora en combis (camionetas de transporte público), pero ya desde hace un año pudo hacerlo en su propia combi, la cual compró con sus ahorros y la ayuda de sus padres, su ruta es la Nº 14, una de las más transitadas de la ciudad de Juliaca. Lo que Eda espera para un futuro es comprar más carros y formar su propia empresa de transportes, lo que más le gusta de su trabajo es conversar con los pasajeros y hacerles más amenos los largos viajes, pero lo más difícil es tener que permanecer todo el día parada, abriendo y cerrando la puerta de la combi, aun así sabe que es su trabajo y que gracias a éste ha podido ir mejorando su vida. Es la segunda vez que Eda accede a un préstamo con MFP, su banco comunal la apoya y quiere que salga adelante, ya que es la socias que más se preocupa en que todos se beneficien por igual. Con los mil nuevos soles solicitados, comprará nuevas llantas para su combi, para así poder brindar un mejor servicio a sus clientes.
