My name is Kosar Parveen and I have owned a two-room brick house in Borewala, Pakistan for the past 10 years. Borewala is famous for its shrines. My husband, Muhammad Ramza, runs a motorbike-rental business. Currently, he has two motorbikes. I also run a cloth-selling business to pay the utilities and to share the financial burden with my husband. My husband is very happy with me. I am applying for a loan to buy another motorbike for my husband’s business.

I’m the group leader of four other women from my area. Najma Parveen baji wants a loan to buy beams for her shuttering business. Munawar Shaheen baji wants a loan to buy timber to sell. Fakhira baji wants a loan to buy goat for her animal-selling business. Khursheed Begum baji wants a loan to buy seasonal fruit for her fruit-selling business.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
