Sabiha naz baji wants a loan to buy edible items (chips & biscuits) to sell. Malkana baji wants a loan to buy a sewing machine for sewing clothes. Ruqaiya baji wants a loan to buy material (beads, colored thread and clothes) for her decorative embroidery business. Rafiqa khatoon baji wants a loan to buy animals (goats) for her butcher shop.

Shazia khan baji is the group leader of these ladies mentioned above. They all live in a city named Multan, Pakistan. Multan city is famous for its shrines. They all are ladies who are struggling. They run their own businesses to manage their financial expenses. Rafiqa baji runs a boutique in the community. She prepares simple and designer clothes and displays them in the boutique and sells them. She is applying for a loan to buy material (beads, clothes, and colored thread) to increase the profit of her boutique.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.



About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
