In 2005, Veaceslav started a small timber operation in the south of Moldova. Veaceslav's entry into the timber business was in the trade flow from Romania to Moldova at that time and he has since posted an impressive growth rate, particularly over the past two years.
During this period, Veaceslav has become one of the larger suppliers in the region. This strong business growth is the result of his strength in the three key dimensions of the business: sourcing, depth of product species, and marketing presence. He places a significant emphasis on quality control, and this is reflected in his quality management systems and procedures. His objective is to enhance value through providing superior service to his customers.
Veaceslav recognizes that it requires long-term commitment to improve forestry practices, so he has requested a micro-loan from Microinvest to purchase more logging and tree-felling equipment.
