Patrice Kamba has been a micro-entrepreneur for a long time. His shop, originated in 1988, really improved through 1990. The pillaging in 1991 and 1993 in Kinshasa had carried off all the merchandise in his shop and cause his bankruptcy. From 1998 to today, Patrice got reorganized, relaunching his shop once again. For now, he is happy because his business is improving as he would like, despite some difficulties due to monetary depreciation.

His general store includes canned foods, soaps, candles, toilet paper, milk, sugar, salt, etc... With the loan of this May, he has planned to bolster his stock of merchandise aiming to increase his revenues and to satisfy the needs of his ever-growing customer base. His ambition is to open a store for men's and women's clothing. The market is big in his district. Currently, he totals up $300 in capital and his work generates a profit of $175 per month. He has joined a HOPE RDC group in 2008 with the goal of realizing his dream

Patrice is 47 years old, married, and the father of eight children, ranging in age from 17 to 32. Three of them are on their own, and five live with Patrice and his wife and go to school.

Patrice Kamba est un micro entrepreneur depuis longtemps. Sa boutique a pris naissance en 1988 et a bien évolué jusqu’en 1990. Les pillages de 1991 et 1993 à Kinshasa avaient emporté toute la marchandise de sa boutique et lui ont causé la faillite. De 1998 à ce jour, Patrice s’est réorganisé pour relancer une fois encore la boutique. Il est pour le moment content car son affaire évolue comme il le souhaite malgré quelques difficultés dues à la dépréciation monétaire. Sa boutique générale comprend des boites de conserve, des savons, des bougies, des papiers hygiéniques, du lait, du sucre, du sel etc…. Il a planifié de renforcer avec le crédit du mois de mai en cours, le stock des marchandises de son affaire en vue d’accroitre le revenu et satisfaire les besoins de sa clientèle qui ne cessent d’augmenter. Son ambition est d’ouvrir aussi un magasin d’habillement mixte. Le marché est grand dans son quartier. Actuellement, il totalise aujourd’hui un capital propre de $300 et son activité lui génère un bénéfice de $175 par mois. Il a rejoint un des groupes de Hope RDC depuis 2008 dans le but de réaliser son rêve. Patrice a 47 ans, marié et père de 8 enfants dont leurs varient entre 17 et 32 ans. Trois d’entre eux sont indépendants et cinq vivent avec Patrice et son épouse et vont à l’école.
