Parveen Gulzar Group

My name is Parveen and, for the past 14 years, I have belonged to a city named Multan, Pakistan, which is famous for its shrines.

My husband’s name is Gulzar, and we both handle our decorative-embroidery business. I prepare embroidered dresses and my husband sells them to the clothes shops and earns income. We’ve been in this business for the past three years. The shopkeepers are satisfied with our work. I’m applying for a loan to buy material (colored thread, beads and cloth) to complete the orders and to earn a good income.

I’m the group leader of four other women from my locality:

Mumtaz baji and Nasreen baji each want a loan to buy material (beads, colored thread and cloth) for their decorative embroidery business.

Aziza baji and Naseem baji each want a loan to buy clothes for their clothes-selling business.
