Presentacion Abdon

Presentacion Abdon is from the village of Bobongan, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga del Sur. She is 53 years old. Presentacion is married and has three school-aged children. To make a living, Presentacion owns and operates a business venture selling "sawali," or woven bamboo wall products, to local businesses and community members. Presentacion has been engaged in her business for over 20 years and earns approximately 3,000 PHP a month from these activities.

In 2009, Presentacion joined GDMPC to gain access to financial services. Her goal was to help improve her living situation and increase her ability to engage in business activities. Presentacion is requesting a loan of 5,000 PHP, which will be used to purchase raw materials to manufacture additional products. This will be the first loan taken out by Presentacion from GDMPC. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to pay the tuition fees of her children.
