Mercy Yeboah

Mercy Yeboah is thirty-eight years old. She is married with five children, one daughter and four sons. She says her children are currently in junior high or primary school. She lives with her children and husband in a rented apartment in Kofiase. Kofiase is a farming and trading community near Dormaa, the district capital in the Brong Ahafo region.

Mercy trades in smoked fish. She procures it from Dormaa and sells in the local market on a table top. She also treks to other towns to sell and trades in vegetables.

Mercy has been in business for two years and wants a loan to procure smoked fish in bulk. She is hopeful that she can expand her business and give her children the best education she can afford.
