Constant Nsotala makes cookies and cakes that he sells in his neighborhood, located in the western part of Kinshasa. In addition, he's developing a small shop selling various commonly used items. He plans to use this loan to buy products his clientele is asking for, such as soaps, sugar, canned food, etc... in order to bolster his working capital and increase his revenue. Constant is a trained furniture maker, but he's happy to run this business because it provides him with financial means to support his family. He started his business in 1996 with an initial capital of $25, selling corn and cassava. In 2003, after years of hard work, determination, and, most importantly, good management, he succeeded in achieving a $600 capital. This amount enabled him to buy two used ovens to cook cookies. His capital now amounts to $270, and his business turns a monthly profit of $120. His ambition is to one day open a bakery, because demand for it is very high. Constant is well known in his field, thanks to the quality of his products. He's married and the father of 2 children, age 10 and 14, who both attend school.

Constant Nsotala fabrique des cakes et des gâteaux qu’il vend dans son quartier situé à l’ouest de Kinshasa. A coté de cette fabrication, il est entrain de développer une petite boutique d’articles divers sollicités par beaucoup de gens. Il a planifié d’acheter avec le crédit de ce mois de mai des produits recherchés par sa clientèle tels que des savons, du sucre, des conserves, etc…dans le souci de renforcer son capital et accroitre le revenu. Constant est menuisier de formation mais il est content d’exercer ce commerce car ca lui procure des moyens financiers pour supporter sa famille. Il a commencé son commerce en vendant du maїs et du manioc en 1996 avec un capital initial de $25. En 2003, au bout d’un dur travail, de la détermination et surtout d’une bonne gestion, il est parvenu à atteindre un capital de $600. C’est ce montant qui lui a permis d’acheter deux fours d’occasion de fabrication des gâteaux. Actuellement, son capital est de $270 et son activité génère un bénéfice de $120 par mois. Son ambition est d’ouvrir un jour une boulangerie car la demande est très grande. Constant est mieux connu dans son milieu à cause de la qualité des ses produits. Il est marié et père de 2 enfants âgés entre 10 et 14 ans. Tous deux vont à l’école.
