Akosua Owusua started her fish sales a year ago in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. Akosua prepares and serves her customers with very tasty and good quality fish and because of that many customers buy from her stand. She buys stocks of fish from the fishermen and smokes them. She has a large customer base which travels from other parts of the community to buy her fish. She has also added the sale of cooking spices to her inventory to attract more customers.
She is now 48 years old, married, and the mother of two children. All her children have completed senior high school. She wants to use the loan to increase her stock of assorted fishes and make increased sales. She will use the additional income to support her children's education and her business' growth. She belongs to the village bank called Promise.
