Shazia Yousaf Masih Group

Shazia Yousaf Masih is the group leader of other four women. They all live in the city of Kot Radha Kishan, Pakistan. They are hard-working and are satisfied with their struggle. Shazia manages a cot-knitting business. She earns income from the orders that she gets from the community. Shazia baji is applying for a loan to buy wood for her husband’s wood-selling business.

Nasreen baji wants a loan to buy seasonal vegetables for her vegetable-selling business. Kosar baji wants a loan to buy a sewing machine for sewing clothes. Razia baji wants a loan to pay the remaining installment of her auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle). Shazia baji wants a loan to buy groceries for her grocery shop.

This is a group loan and the loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
