Shaheen Asif Qamar Arshad Group

Shaheen baji is married to Asif Qamar Arshad and they have been living together in Kot Radha Kishan city since the past 10 years. She is the group leader of six other women and all of them belong to a poor family, but they respect each other a lot. They spend independent lives doing their own businesses. They work mainly to pay house utilities. Shaheen baji is applying for a loan to buy medicines for her pharmacy.

Razia baji wants a loan to buy groceries for her grocery shop. Musarat baji wants a loan to buy wood for her furniture-making business. Fozia baji wants a loan to buy an auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle). Mumtaz baji wants a loan to buy electric supplies (wires, switch boards and switches) for her electric shop. Veenus baji wants a loan to buy wood to sell.

This is a group loan and the loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.

Note: The grocery shop belongs to Razia baji.





About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
