Suraiya Karamat Masih Group

Suraiya baji is a citizen of a mid-sized city named Vehari, Pakistan. She is a very hard-working lady. She sews clothes day and night and earns money. She saves her income for a rainy day. Her husband prepares embroidered dresses on orders which he collects from the clothes shops. He completes 1 dress in 15 days. Suraiya baji is applying for a loan to buy material (beads, colored thread and cloth) so that her husband fill the orders of his customers.

Suraiya baji is the group leader for four other women from her locality. Shamshad baji wants a loan to buy material (beads, colored thread) for her embroidery business. Abida baji wants a loan to buy clothes to sell. Manzooran baji wants a loan to buy clothes to sell. Shazia khursheed baji wants a loan to buy groceries for her grocery shop.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
