Maria is a sweet woman of 51 years. She is responsible for looking out for the wellbeing of her family, since does not receive any help from his expartner who abandoned them. But with the help of her daughters they worked very hard to buy a house and a few other things. Ever since she arrived in the capital city she sought out ways to cover her expenses. All the savings they had were spent on day to day living. With the support of her daughters they managed to set up a business that generates a good income. Their business is an artesan business, making decorations from plant materials that they bring from northern Peru. They sell their items in artesan shops in the downtown of the capital. Maria's decorations are very popular, given their unique originality in each one. Given the demande she has to work very hard all day long together with her daughters, to make and distribute the weekly orders placed. They always have time to spend with each other to enjoy the fruits of their efforts. This is their eighth loan with MFP (Kiva Field Partner) and their connections helped them meet people who assumed responsibilities and goals and formed the bank they now belong to. With the 1000 soles she is requesting, she will invest the funds in the purchase of materials to create their decorations and increase their production.
