Marionito Abesia

Marionito Abesia is from the village of Kinangay Sur, Clarin, Misamis Occidental. He is 37 years old. Marionito is married and has 2 school-aged children. To make a living, Marionito owns & operates a business selling "tuba" or coconut wine. The main source of income for the business comes from selling personal home products to tourists and local community members. Marionito has been engaged in his business for over 3 years and earns approximately 8,000 PHP a month for these activities.

In 2009, Marionito joined GDMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve his living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Marionito is requesting a new loan of 10000 PHP which will be used as working capital. This loan will be the first loan taken out by Marionito from GDMPC. He plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve/expand his busines.
