Socavon Group

The "Socavón" ("Tunnel") group is represented by Casilda, who together with her 12 members are on their third loan cycle with Kiva's partner and have demonstrated honor and responsibility. In this group the majority of the members make a living selling baked good such as homemade bread, tortas, empanadas and pastries in general. Others make a living selling candy, candles, food or work in public transportation. In their commercial arena there is a lot of competition in pricing, and it's for this reason they are requesting the loan so they can diversify their products and can purchase ingredients and materials to help minimize their costs and produce larger quantities of their goods. This will improve their income and help them provide a better quality of life for their families.

El grupo "Socavón" representado por la señora Casilda que va cursando junto a sus 12 miembros su tercer ciclo de trabajo con la institución demostrando honradez y responsabilidad. En este grupo la mayoría de las socias se dedican a la elaboración de productos de repostería como ser pan casero, tortas, empanadas y masitas en general, otras se dedican a la venta de dulces, velas, comida y al servicio de transporte público. Dentro del ámbito comercial existe mucha competencia en especial en los precios ofrecidos a los clientes es por esta razón que requieren del financiamiento para poder diversificar sus productos y para la compra de insumos y materiales que ayuden a minimizar costos y producir en mayor cantidad de productos, mejorando sus ingresos que ayuden a brindarles a sus familias una mejor calidad de vida.
