Thuận Phùng Thị (1219030729) is a 42-year-old female living in the town of Ninh Giang. She is married and has two school-aged children. To make a living, Thuận owns & operates a business venture in the agriculture sector raising livestock and making and selling food. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes primarily from raising pigs and making tofu for sale. Thuận has been engaged in this business for over 10 years and earns approximately 3000000 VND a month from these activities.


In 2003, Thuận joined TYM Fund to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Thuận has successfully repaid a previous loan from TYM Fund. This previous loan was used to purchase breeding livestock. Thuận is now requesting a new loan of 9000000 VND which will be used to purchase livestock feed & other supplies and invest in her business. The loan will be the sixth loan taken out by the borrower from TYM Fund. Thuận plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve/expand her business.
