Rubina Kosar M. Tariq Group

Rubina kosar baji is a wife of M. Tariq. She has lived in a city named Borewala, Pakistan for the past 16 years. Borewala is famous for its shrines. She is the mother of two daughters. Both of her daughters are enrolled in a school and are getting an education. Rubina baji wishes to give her daughters a good education, which her parents couldn’t give her. Her husband is a fruit seller by profession. He has 5 years of experience. Rubina baji helps him by arranging the fruit in boxes so he able to pack them easily and sell them to the fruit shops. She is applying for a loan to buy more seasonal fruits for her husband’s fruit selling business.

She is the group leader of five other women from her locality. Sultana baji and Hanifan baji each want a loan to buy a beam shuttering business. Salma baji wants a loan to buy an auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle). Parveen kosar baji wants a loan to buy material (scissors and a sewing machine) for her tailoring center. Rubina baji wants a loan to buy milk to sell.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.

About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
