Suraiya M. Anwar Group

Suraiya baji is the wife of M. Anwar who lives in Vehari, Pakistan. Vehari city is famous for its shrines. Her husband is a driver and drives a rented auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle). Her husband is a very hardworking guy but he couldn’t get all the rewards of his struggle. This hurt Suraiya baji very much. She operates a sewing clothes business. She sews clothes without thinking about day and night and collects orders from her neighbors. She saves her income in a committee and plans to buy an auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle) with the committee amount. She is applying for a loan to buy an auto-rickshaw because she is lacking Pak Rs. 15,000 for the new rickshaw.

She is the group leader of three other women from her locality. Rani baji wants a loan to buy wood to sell. Manzooran baji wants a loan to buy a donkey cart for loading. Naziran baji wants a loan to buy another juicer machine for her juice corner.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
