Mahran Nazir Ahmad Group

Mahran baji is the wife of Nazir ahmad who has been living in Vehari, Pakistan for the last 11 years. Her husband is a loader by profession. He loads different items (e.g. construction supplies, fruits & vegetables) on carts and delivers them to the specified places. She is the mother of three kids: two daughters and one son. All of her kids are getting an education from a school located near to the house. Mahran baji is a very determined lady. She knows that her husband’s income is small but she never realized him about it. She supports him financially by selling thread. She is applying for a loan to buy a new donkey cart because the old cart is rough and rotted.

She is the group leader of four other women from her locality. Zarina baji wants a loan to buy another juicer machine for her juice corner. Shamim akhtar baji wants a loan to buy a donkey cart for loading. Naziran baji wants a loan to buy material (chairs, mirrors and scissors) for her salon. Kosar baji wants a loan to buy seasonal fruits to sell.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.




About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
