Good Faith Group

This is Hawa O. Bah, Isatu C. Barrie, Mohamed Kargbo and Dora Sankoh. They named their group Good Faith. They have received several loans from SMT/Kiva. Previous loans have made meaningful contributions towards the development and wellbeing of these entrepreneurs. Previous loans enabled them to expand their businesses, made better sales and increased profit. Consequently, their standards of living have improved. Having repaid their previous loans successfully, they are requesting a new loan of SLL 3,000,000 to further strengthen their businesses.

Hawa O. Bah (second from left) is the leader of this group. She was born in Magburaka, Tonkolili district, in northern Sierra Leone. She is married to a businessman and they have two children together, both of whom are still in primary schools. Hawa, together with her husband, sells rice, soda, cements, etc. wholesale. She has had over ten years of experience in business.






About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
