Nguyen Thi Cuong

Cường Nguyễn Thị (1337031109) is a 47-year-old woman living in the town of Hưng nguyên. She is married and does not have any chlidren. To making a living, Cường owns & operates a business venture in the agriculture sector raising livestock. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes primarily from raising pigs for sale. Cường has been engaged in this business for over 11 years and earns approximately 2,000,000 Vietnamese Dong (about US $117) a month from these activities.

In 2003, Cường joined TYM Fund to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Cường has successfully repaid a previous loan of 10,000,000 dong from TYM Fund. This previous loan was used to build shelter for her livestock. Cường is now requesting a new loan of 14,000,000 dong which will be used to purchase baby livestock to raise & sell in future. The loan will be the 6th she has taken out from TYM Fund. Cường plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve and expand her business.
