Hường Phạm Thị (627981317) is a 56-year-old woman living in the town of Hưng nguyên. She is married and does not have any chlidren. To making a living, Hường owns & operates a business venture in the agriculture sector raising livestock. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes primarily from raising cattle for sale. Hường has been engaged in this business for over 13 years and earns approximately 2,000,000 Vietnamese Dong (about US $117) a month from these activities.

In 1998, Hường joined TYM Fund to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Hường has successfully repaid a previous loan of 8,000,000 dong from TYM Fund. This previous loan was used to invest in expanding the business. Hường is now requesting a new loan of 12,000,000 dong which will be used to purchase breeding livestock. The loan will be the 12th she has taken out from TYM Fund. Hường plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve and expand her business.
