Tamtemneh Group

This is John Thullah, Brima Koroma, Fatu Kargbo and Isatu Fornah. They named their group Tamtemneh. This is not the first loan these entrepreneurs have requested from SMT/Kiva. They have received several loans from SMT/Kiva. Previous loans have made a significant impact in the lives of these entrepreneurs. Having repaid their last loan successfully, each of them is requesting a new loan of Le 1,200,000.00. With this loan, they will be able to increase the sizes and qualities of their businesses and consequently make better profit and improve on their standards of living.

John Thullah (second from left) is the leader of this group. He is forty-three years of age. He was born in Makump Bana village, five miles from Makeni City. He is married with eight children. One of his children is in secondary school, five in primary schools and two are not of school-going age. John has been a businessman for over fifteen years now. He sells rubber bowls, fishes, cottons, shoes, rice, and so on.
