Adyabaatar Baatar is 32, married and the father of two daughters. His eldest daughter goes to a local elementary school. His family lives in a "ger" (traditional nomadic tent) district in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. In 2002 he began to transport food products for stall owners at "Bars", the biggest vegetable wholesale market in Ulaanbaatar. His average monthly income is 700,000 tugrugs ($1 USD=1,400 MNT), average profit is 300,000 tugrugs. His wife, Bolortuya, works at a local grocery store as a saleswoman. With their savings, they bought a plot of land last fall and built a little house by themselves. Adyabaatar has also bought a better second hand car.
