Walter is 46 years old. He is a very self-sacrificing head of the family and has "a thousand jobs". He has 3 children and owns his own home. From the time he was young, he has done agricultural work, an activity he inherited from his parents. But for him, agriculture sometimes results in scarce production and many times he does not recoup his investment. For this reason, he has been raising guinea pigs for the past 5 years, though he has not stopped planting potatoes and peas, which in certain seasons are very profitable.

Walter dedicates most of his time to his animals, as he wants to become a successful business owner. He started his business with guinea pigs of a lower quality, but now he is upgrading to a lineage of better quality, participating in all of the livestock fairs to exhibit his rodents. In the picture, Walter proudly shows us his female guinea pig, which is quite large.

In order to feed his guinea pigs, he plants alfalfa in irrigated plots, since with the passing of the months he has more animals and requires more pasture. He is very happy because this job has enabled him to work with engineers, from whom has is able to obtain very useful information to improve his business.

This is the fourth loan that he has taken out from MFP, and he has always paid very punctually. He has also served as the treasurer, a role he performed with great integrity. It is also worth noting he is the only man in his communal bank, and is therefore the favorite of the rest of the female members. With this loan he has decided to purchase fields planted with alfalfa or oats to feed his 200 guinea pigs, as well as fertilizer for his potato crops.
