Elena, 31 years old, has always fought to get ahead and to improve her life. She lives in her own house. The 3 years that she has been in the hardware business have served to improve her life. She purchases the materials from the city of Oruro (city in the country of Bolivia) and moves them by land to Puno, to then distribute them to the city's different hardware stores. Elena enjoys traveling to Bolivia to bring the materials, since she amuses herself on the way, and hopes later to have her own hardware store where she can sell the materials that she brings herself, since the most difficult thing nowadays is to distribute the hardware, as the materials weigh a lot and are very difficult to transport. Now on her second loan, Elena, who always pays all of her payments on time, has decided to improve her business and feels that she has the support of the members of her communal bank. With the requested 1700 soles (Peruvian currency) she will increase her work capital to purchase more materials.

Elena de 31 años, siempre luchó por salir adelante y mejorar su vida, vive en su propia casa. Los 3 años que tiene en el negocio de la ferretería, le han servido para mejorar su vida, ella compra los materiales de la ciudad de Oruro (Ciudad del país de Bolivia) y los traslada vía terrestre hasta Puno, para luego distribuirlos a las distintas ferreterías de la ciudad. Elena disfruta de viajar hasta Bolivia para traer los materiales, ya que se distrae mucho en el camino, y espera más adelante, tener su propia ferretería donde pueda vender ella misma los materiales que trae, ya que lo más difícil, actualmente, es distribuir a las ferreterías, puesto que los materiales pesan mucho y le son muy difíciles de transportar. Ya estando en su segundo préstamo, Elena que siempre paga todas sus cuotas a tiempo, ha decidido mejorar su negocio y siente que tiene el respaldo de las socias de su banco comunal. Con los 1700 soles solicitados incrementará su capital de trabajo para comprar más materiales.
