Imtiaz Manzoor Ahmad Group

Imtiaz baji has lived in a city named Lahore, in Pakistan, for the last thirty-five years. Her husband's name is Manzoor ahmad and he has a shuttering business. He has four years of experience in this business. Imtiaz baji is the mother of six children: five sons and one daughter. Her elder son helps his father in his shuttering business, the second has a lathe business and the third son runs a paint business. The others are students at a school located near her house. Imtiaz baji operates an embroidery business. She embroiders dresses to order for her neighbors. She uses her income to pay off her children's school fees. She is applying for a loan to buy wood to enlarge her husband’s shuttering business.

She is the group leader of four other women from her locality. Rubina shaheen baji wants a loan to buy wood for her shuttering business. Nasira baji wants a loan to buy a welding machine. Anwari baji wants a loan to buy clothes to sell. Fozia baji wants a loan to buy iron for making iron chains, which she will sell.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
