Faty Bolenge was introduced to her work by her husband in 1996. She sells automobile parts that she buys as the Matadi port in the province of Bas-Congo in the southwest of the DRC. She acquired solid experience in sales and in the good managing of her business. She is known by drivers and mechanics of Kinshasa who trust her a great deal for quality service and especially for the better quality goods she sells them.

Faty experienced a drop in business in 1997 due to political instability. She began again in 2000 and has prospered through today. She now has capital amounting to over $500. She makes her sales in Matonge, which is the best known and busiest place in Kinshasa. She likes her business because it's profitable and provides the chance for her to meet a lot of people.

She is 31 years old, married, and the mother of three children, who vary in age from 4 to 8. Only two of them go to school. Faty dreams one day of becoming an importer of auto parts directly from the West.

Faty Bolenge a été initiée dans son affaire par son mari depuis 1996. Elle vend des pièces de rechange auto qu’elle achète au port de Matadi dans la province du Bas-Congo au sud-ouest de la RDC. Elle a acquit une expérience solide en vente et en bonne gestion de son activité. Elle est connue par des chauffeurs et mécaniciens de Kinshasa qui lui font beaucoup de confiance à cause de la qualité de ses services et surtout des pièces d'une meilleure qualité qu’elle leur vend. Son affaire a connu une baisse en 1997 à cause de l’instabilité politique. Elle a reprit et prospéré de 2000 jusqu’à ce jour. Faty totalise aujourd’hui un capital propre de plus de $500. Elle vend à Matonge qui est le milieu le plus connu et fréquenté de Kinshasa. Elle aime son affaire car elle est rentable et lui donne l’occasion faire beaucoup de connaissances. Elle a 31 ans, mariée et mère de trois enfants dont leurs âges varient de 4 à 8 ans et deux seulement vont à l’école. Faty rêve devenir un jour une importatrice des pièces d’auto directement de l’occident.
