Vicuñitas Group

Informal commerce is the main activity of the group "Vicuñitas". Some members make a living selling milk. Feliza sells flip-flops and slippers. Others sell potatoes, while others sells lunches. The group has been with Kiva partner Pro-Mujer for more than two years. They meet every two weeks at the Andes focal center; at the moment the group consists of the 16 members. Now the women want to reinforce their businesses by purchasing larger quantities of merchandise and have the security to obtain more earnings to be able to fulfill their obligations.

El comercio informal es la principal actividad de la asociación “Vicuñitas”, se dedican a la venta de leche, Feliza vende Chinelas y pantuflas, otras venden papa, y también venden almuerzos. Esta asociación trabaja hace más de dos años junto a la familia de Pro-Mujer. Se reunen quincenalmente en el centro focal Los Andes, a la fecha el grupo esta integrado por 16 miembros. Ahora ellas quieren reforzar sus negocios comprando mayor cantidad de mercadería, tienen la seguridad que obtendrán mayores ganancias para poder cumplir con sus obligaciones.



About Group Loans
