The Amor & Paz Group are comprised of women who get along well, are sociable who are tasked with the desire to overcome obstacles and are close-by neighbors.

Ms. Luxy is 36-years old and has owned a shop for the last 3-years. This business is located in a strategic sector where there is great demand. She clients are her neighbors and passers-by. She’s open for busy very early in the morning and closes her doors at 10 PM. She sells napkins, toilet paper, rice, butter, coffee, sugar, Maseca (brand of corn), margarine, salsa. It costs $300.00 per week to maintain, yet she only earns $83. Lucy needs credit to purchase more items like refreshments, Maseca, butter, rice, spaghetti sauce, beans as she’d like to have a very diverse shop. She dreams to see her pool of clients grow and hopes to gain good profits.

Ms. Iris has been committed to the sale of candy, snacks and jellies for the last 6-years. She goes to the schools in her colony as well as to students and neighbors to sell her products. She is a very well liked, very sociable person who cares for the children. She starts by selling tacos, chilli’s and bean tamales which cost $37.00, but generate $73 of income. With this form of help she will be able to support her husband and three children. She needs our help to buy new shoes, cosmetics and a uniform to be presentable as she was engaged in the sale of clothing. Her dream is to have a thriving business and to have her children become professionals one day.

Ms. Gladys has been engaged in the sales of tortillas for the last 5-years. Her clients are her neighbors and she also has clients at her kiosk and sometimes finds luck by the cafés in the Loarque Plaza. The children love to have tortillas. She spends $45 a week on materials but earns $75 for her efforts. The customers help her support her husband and three children who are in school and will have the opportunity to get ahead. Her dream is to see them become professionals and the loan is needed to purchase corn, wood and lime.

Ms. Wilfida is 26-years old and has been engaged to the sale of tortillas for the last 3-years. She will need a little assistance to help her mother sell tortillas. Her clients are her neighbors, as well, and she also has clients at the kiosks that she encounters daily. The materials cost $50.00, but she earns $70.00 per week. Her dream is to sell much and the much needed credit will allow her to buy premium material (corn, maseca, wood and lime).
