Albertine Aziahounkoui

AZIAHOUNKOUI Albertine was born around 1957. She is the mother of five children, three of whom are in school and in her care. She is married to CODO TOSSOU Pierre, who is employed as a mechanic at the University of Abomey Calavi. Albertine lives with her family in the Akpakpa Dodomè district in Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin. She sells various goods and cosmetics in her shop in Akpakpa Dodomè. She buys her merchandise from retailers in Cotonou at the grand international market of Benin.

To grow her capital and to be able to make purchases from wholesalers, she turned toward Alidé. She has had fourteen loans with Alidé that she has repaid. These loans were used to raise her business to a level at which it is today. Her plan is to diversify her business by selling grains. To realize this plan, she's requesting a fifteen loan from Alidé.

ALIDÉ means “there is always a path for the poorest” in Benin’s local language of Fon. Benin is a small West African country located next to Nigeria and has a per capita GDP of $1,500.

AZIAHOUNKOUI Albertine est née vers 1957. Albertine est mère de cinq (5) enfants dont trois scolarisés et à sa charge. Albertine est mariée à CODO TOSSOU Pierre employé comme mécanicien à l’université d’Abomey Calavi. Albertine vit avec sa famille au quartier Akpakpa Dodomè à Cotonou, Capitale Économique du Bénin. Albertine vend des divers et des produits cosmétiques dans sa boutique à Akpakpa Dodomè. Albertine achète ses produits chez les détaillants à Cotonou au grand marché international du Bénin. Pour accroître son capital et pouvoir faire ses achats chez les grossistes Albertine s'est adressée à ALIDé. Albertine a eu déjà quatoze (14) prêts avec ALIDé; prêts qu'elle a bien remboursés et avec lesquels elle a pu hisser son activité au niveau où elle est aujourd'hui. Albertine a pour projet de diversifier son activité à la vente de céréales. C'est pour réaliser ce projet que Albertine sollicite un quinzième prêt à ALIDé.


La signification de ALIDé en langue locale du Bénin, le Fon, est « un chemin existe toujours pour les plus pauvres ». Le Bénin est un petit pays de l’Afrique de l’Ouest à coté du Nigeria où le PIB par habitant est à $1,500.
