Millicent Ofosu

Millicent Ofosu is forty–six years old. She is widowed and has given birth to four children, two sons and two daughters. She says that two of her children attend university, one attends senior high school, and the youngest primary school. Millicent lives with her children in a family house in a farming/commercial town named Achiase, which is near Akim Oda in the eastern region of Ghana. Her brother helps her to take care of the children.

Millicent is a trader. She runs a provision store by the roadside. Millicent procures her goods from wholesalers in Oda.
She has been in this business for two years and desires to expand her business. She is hopeful of improving her standard of living.
