Elizabeth Castro

Mrs. Elizabeth Castro has enjoyed more than a year of association with Paglaum Multi Purpose Cooperative, a partner through thick and thin for her business. Her primary source of income is selling used clothing. It’s a daily challenge for her to submit her loan payments on time, but this has now become a habit. Elizabeth is 57 years old, married, and has eight children. She tells us with pride that she is able to nurture all her children well. Finishing a degree was far out of sight for her and she only reached the fourth year high school. But, she’s happy that she was able to send her children to school. In fact, she has now children working abroad. She has applied with Paglaum MPC for a loan of PHP 40,000. With this loan she will purchase additional bundles of used clothing. She wants to expand her business by opening another used clothing store.
