Smith

Smith is a member of the Community Bank Virgen de las Mercedes.

Smith is married and is 47 years old, having two children aged 27 and 26 years old. Both are working.

Smith completed high school and was preparing for university but she became pregnant and her plans were changed. Her mother conducted sales in the Kiliando station and she used to help her. Having learned from her experience she became independent and set up her own stand selling potatoes wholesale. Her husband administers the business.

Smith requires loan in the amount of 1800 soles to purchase a 300 Kg load of potatoes.

Since she has been working with Finca (Kiva Field Partner) the loans have helped her expand her business, and she has learned to listen, ask, and to speak up and to get involved.

Smith's dream is to travel to another province to purchase potatoes in the plantations.

Smith es casada tiene 47 años. Dos hijos de 27 y 26 años, que trabajan.
Smith termino la escuela estatal, se preparaba para postular a la universidad y salio embarazada, sus planes cambiaron. Su mama vendía en la parada kiliando y ella le ayudaba, aprendió y se independizo puso su puesto de venta de papa al por mayor; su esposo administra el negocio.
Smith necesita un crédito de 1800 soles, para la compra de mercadería de papa 300 kilos.
Desde que esta en Finca, los prestamos han ayudado ha incrementar mas su negocio, aprendió a escuchar ha preguntar a opinar y ha desenvolverse.
El sueño Smith es viajar a provincia para comprar papa en las chacras.
