Alberto

Alberto is 42 years of age, has been married for eight years, and has seven children of whom two are now living away from home. Agricultural work is part of his life. He is a noble and charismatic man, but above all he is very devoted to his farming. When we visited him, we found him harvesting potatoes at seven in the morning and smiling with the joy that this chore brings him. Afterward, he gets his produce ready and transports it to be sold in the city markets. Growing potatoes is very profitable for Alberto. Although it's a lot of work to produce them, he feels very satisfied with the prices at market. This motivates him to continue planting them, in order to improve the quality of life for his young children. Alberto plans to increase his plantings but he doesn't have his own fields. This doesn't discourage him. He will continue farming on rented farmland until he is able to buy his own. His wife usually attends the meetings of his communal bank because he is working in his fields. This is his seventh loan with Microfinanzas PRISMA and in all of that time he has shown himself to be a very punctual client. The funds he is requesting will be invested in the purchase of seeds for peas in order to grow them in the field once the potatoes are harvested.

Alberto de 42 años de edad, está casado hace 8 años, tiene 7 hijos, de los cuales 2 de ellos ya viven fuera de casa. Las labores agrícolas son parte de su vida, es un hombre noble y carismático, sobre todo muy entregado a cada uno de sus cultivos. Cuando lo visitamos, lo hallamos a las 7.00am realizando la cosecha de papa, sonriendo por la alegría que le trae esta faena, después alista y transporta su producto para comercializarlo en los mercados de la ciudad. La siembra de papa es muy rentable para Alberto, aunque tenga que trabajar mucho en el desarrollo de este tubérculo, se siente muy complacido por los precios del mercado, esto lo motiva a seguir sembrando para mejorar la calidad de vida de sus hijos menores. Los planes de Alberto son de incrementar sus cultivos, pero carece de tierras propias, esto no lo desanima, pues seguirá sembrando en chacras alquiladas hasta que pueda comprarse las suyas. Generalmente para las reuniones de su banco comunal, asiste su esposa, porque él está trabajado en sus chacras. Este es su 7mo crédito con MFP, y en todo este tiempo a demostrado ser un cliente muy puntual. El dinero que solicita es para invertir en la compra de semillas de alverjas, para sembrarlas en la chacra cosechada de papa.
