Rachetés Plus Group

Elisa Ndungidi sells fresh staple foods and spices. She started her business in 2000 after her divorce. Her initial capital was $25, which had enabled her to buy a box of fish to resell. After working hard, she was able to grow her capital to $100 in 2005. Her business experienced some difficulty in 2005-2007 following untimely electrical outages in her district that caused the fish to spoil. Her business regained its normal momentum in 2008 since electrical power was stabilized.

Wanting to bolster her business continually and to grow her revenues, Elisa joined one of the groups of the micro-finance institution HOPE RDC named “Rachetés” in December 2008. The loan she obtained enabled her to buy a box of fresh fish, some peanuts, and spices to resell with the goal of augmenting her profits. Currently, her business generates a profit of $20 per week. Her ambition is to open a house with a cold room for reselling fresh staple items.

Elisa is 50 years old, divorced, and the mother of four children, ages 16 to 30. The last two of them live with her. She is happy with the loans received from HOPE because they help her to develop her business and give her hope.

Elisa Ndungidi vend des vivres frais et des épices. Elle a commencé son affaire en 2000 après le divorce avec son mari. Son capital initial était de $25 qui lui avaient permis d’acheter un carton des poissons à revendre. Après un dur travail, elle est parvenue à accroitre son capital à $100 en 2005. L’affaire d’Elisa a connu des difficultés de 2005 à 2007 suite aux coupures intempestives d’électricité dans son quartier qui causait la pourriture des poissons. Son affaire a reprit l’élan normal en 2008 depuis la stabilisation du courant électrique. Dans le souci de renforcer son affaire de façon permanente et d’accroitre son revenu, Elisa a rejoint un des groupes de l’IMF Hope RDC dénommé « Rachetés » en décembre 2008. Le crédit qu’elle a obtenu lui a permit d’acheter un carton des poissons frais, des arachides et épices à revendre en vue d’augmenter le bénéfice. Actuellement, son affaire génère un bénéfice de $20 par semaine. Son ambition est d’ouvrir une maison de chambre froide pour revendre des vivres frais. Elisa est agée de 50 ans, divorcée et mère de 4 enfants agés de 16 à 30 ans dont les deux derniers vivent encore avec elle. Elisa est contente des crédits reçus de Hope parce qu’ils l’aident à développer son activité et lui donner l’espoir.
