My name is Sakina and I am 29 years old. I have resided in a mid-size city named Vehari, Pakistan for the past 20 years. I am an uneducated lady because my parents couldn’t pay for my education. My husband's name is M. Rafiq and he runs a garment business. I am the mother of two daughters. I want to send my daughters to school, and for this reason I sew clothes by taking orders from my neighbors and relatives.

My brother is also lives with us. He runs a fruit-selling business. He goes to different areas of Vehari on a cart and announces his products in a loud voice. He has been in this business for the past 7 years. I am applying for a loan to buy seasonal fruits to expand my brother’s fruit-selling business.

I’m the group leader of three other women from my locality. Iffat baji and Rashida baji each want a loan to buy groceries for their grocery shops. Khadija baji wants a loan to buy flowers to sell.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
