For the past seven years until now, Dorcas has been baking bread and other pastries like cake, doughnuts etc. In taking care of her household, and in spite of the challenges she faces, she bakes sugar bread, wheat bread, etc. and retails them to her customers. She says she makes sure her food quality meets her customer’s expectations. Her customers book their order in advance and before they come their order is ready. She also retails to individuals for their morning breakfast through hawking (that is house-to-house selling).

She says the price of commodities is increasing which is making it difficult to buy more raw materials from the market and the daily demand for bread is high. Dorcas needs the loan to buy more bags of flour, sugar, margarine, milk and firewood etc. She said your assistance would be much welcome. Dorcas belongs to a group called Amen. With the loan she believes she can save more to support her husband in taking care of the children's educational needs.
