Akua Amponsah

Akua Amponsah is 36 years old. She is married and the mother of five children. She lives with her husband and the children. Currently all her children are in school, either junior high or the primary level. She is a local manufacturer of Soaps. She combines materials like palm oil, soda powder, cocoa pods and coconut oil to obtain her soaps. She is not able to produce in large quantities due to a lack of funds. She wants to take advantage of the loan facility to buy more raw materials and processing equipment to scale up production. She hopes to raise her income to support her children's education. She belongs to the village bank called ‘Adwumapa’, which means Good work.
