Amenyo Afoakpah

Amenyo Afaokpah is thirty-six years old. He is married with two children. Both children are still in junior high school. He lives with his children and wife in a rented apartment in a fishing community called Aquase, near Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana.
Amenyo is a trader. He trades in agrochemicals. He purchases the chemicals from the agricultural offices in the district capital. He stocks chemicals like insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, and all types of fertilizers. He owns a shop in which he sells his products. According to him, farmers in the nearby small communities come to buy the chemicals to apply on their farms. He says he also treks to other towns to supply customers there. Amenyo has been in business for four years and wants a loan to procure agrochemicals in bulk so that he can distribute to more customers.
