Bayantsatsral Renbal lives with his wife and three teenage children in Arhanghay province, one of Mongolia's central provinces. His children go to local public schools. Bayantsatsral and his wife run a small retail stall for women and men's clothing and shoes at the local market.
Bayantsatsral started the retail business in 2005 by selling clothes and shoes imported from Ereen, China, a border town with Mongolia. While he goes to Ereen to purchase new inventory, his wife manages the stall. Their business capital has increased from 700,000 MNT to 2,000,000 MNT ($1 MNT=1,500 MNT).
