Our technology enables one-to-one interpersonal connections & lending at the lowest possible cost.

Job Description: The Kiva Fellows Program, which has deployed over 150 people all over the world for a rare opportunity to witness microfinance firsthand, is seeking an intern to help with current processes, such as responding to applicant inquiries, maintaining records, vetting applications, conducting reference checks and helping to organize quarterly training events.

Core Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to grasp complex tasks and deliver quality outcomes
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates initiative, a "ready to help" attitude and an outgoing personality
  • Comfort with web applications: Gmail, databases (Salesforce), Wiki
  • Study or travel in the developing world is desirable, but not required
