When COVID-19 hit Nicaragua right as Christian was preparing for her future, she didn’t give up. She went all in instead, betting on herself and chasing a dream she’s had since she was a little girl — the dream of becoming a stylist. Though it wasn’t easy to start her own business in the rural farming town where she grew up, her hard work has brought her success for herself and her community.
